Portable Isolators rated up to 12kV, 400A are available to order. These isolators are used for live line working when isolating short sections of overhead line, thereby minimising the amount of disruption to customers who may otherwise find themselves off-line.

The two insulator pattern rocking isolators are fitted with composite insulators and supported by glass reinforced plastic channels for lightweight construction, and are operated by a high level hookstick operating mechanism.
